Day 971: 90-Year-Old You

My first newsletter, how fun:)

It’s now been 971 days since July 1, 2022, the day I decided to start building my current venture, Athletiverse.

How fitting to start these off by going to the end.

Many entrepreneurs, creators, builders, etc. can easily become captivated by the obstacles, mission, and possibilities that face them. This gravitational pull to noise you and I are naturally drawn to can be the seed of regret.

But, there’s only one thing a 90-year-old thinks about:

• Nostalgic memories

• Regret

My hope for you is those end days are full of the first.

— This week I found myself amidst all the noise trying to reset a bit, return to Earth.

And so, my go-to gut checker remains:

What would my 90-year-old self want me to do?

The answer to this question could probably solve world wars, prevent drunk driving, lead more people to surfing, make more parents show up for games, secure more homecoming dates, build more sustainable businesses, or simply, bring you to making dreams a reality.

So, what would the old man/woman tell you to do today?

Now do it.
